2019 or 1999. Opinions?

It’s only my opinion, but I think if the 19 had black / black and chrome wheels it would look a lot better. The red looks out of place to me. Both very nice trucks though!

Agree with this, I think it would look a lot better with black rims, either way prefer the newer body style.

If I could buy an old style 1999 brand new right now rather than the new ones I would for sure! Way less garbage to quit working. A 350 with no engine management systems, no stabilicrap, so much better!

I totally agree, I had a 1997 Silverado 1500 but with the 5.0L with 276k miles on it and sold it last April. I miss that truck. Those old 302's and 350's ran forever! 

Now trying to replace it with something around here in Midwest is tough. A lot of them have seen there better days (lots of rust). Used as farm/work trucks and those trucks have been worked HARD, because they can take it.

 

Nice looking trucks! But definitely take 1999. Also just my 2 cents but you should put black and chrome wheels on it, or black and machined wheels, the red just doesn't look right!

I hear ya. The red ain’t for everyone but it stands out. Don’t wanna get into the wrong truck at Walmart considering they alllll have black wheels
