Fastest L83 Right Now?

Did a few searches and only came up with a mild TT setup running 9.9 back in 2017, gotta believe someone has gotten an L83 faster since then.

That’s pretty damn fast. That’s like 800-900whp. I’d imagine beyond that it most guys would be swapping out the shortblock or building it.

I mean with small blocks, considering the differences between engines is mostly displacement and the architecture is near identical. When you build it, its more of an LTx rather than an l83.

It was on a semi-built shortblock, but with stock suspension and rear end, have to believe someone has posted a better time on the L83.

some group in UAE (i think) had a 9.6 ish run

 

 

they were @ like 20 of 28#s  on their run

so plenty left to toy around with.
