Tow mirror whistle

does anyones mirrors whistle? I bought a genuine GM set and installed myself. The passenger mirror specifically whistles. Not bad with music on while on highway but still annoying.

I tried to seal the joint but it didn't work. How did fix your whistle? Should i return for a new set?

I'd try painters tape at one area at a time to locate the source.

Update- GM parts authority is the one who i bought them from. I got in contact with them and they are shipping me a new mirror so i can send that one back which sounds like they will be sending off to GM. I'll update once I get it and installed

I have the new mirrors installed and so far so good. I havent heard any whistle. Mind you i have some mud tires on currently which makes it hard. Putting some ATs on Friday and next week taking a long 9+ hour road trip so I'll know for sure. But from what I can tell is it was a defective mirror. It appears the plastic cover underneath was the issue

I have this issue with tow mirror driver's side 2021 GMC 2500. Been trying to tape off areas to pinpoint but seems to be something internal catching the wind and whistling.
