Buying GM truck

Its time for a GM truck, and i have been looking at one that seems real good to me but im not sure about how value reflects these trucks anymore. If yall could just let me know what you should be looking at price wise that would be awesome.

To me that is still too much money for a 6 year old truck with darn near 150,000 miles.

It has almost 70,000 less miles and it's the same year truck going for less money than that one.

You are paying for the mods on the one you are looking at, hard to compare a stock versus customized truck in price.

Course, with mods, when it needs fixing, you need to figure out who made what part...

Mods don't value to me. That is at the previous owners expense if they wish to change that stuff.

 

The lifted truck is just asking for more maintenance down the road. High cost for tires and suspension, more wear on all the brakes and drivetrain parts, it'll be slower, less mileage, the paint will slowly chip away on the sides and because it's the internet, I think it looks stupid.

I saw a totally rusted out Dodge about 15 years old on a lot the other day with an ask of $28 K. WWWWWWWWWWWhat? 

 

That's 10 grand more than I paid for Pepper with a thousand three hundred on the clock. What is with people?

I'd rather the stock white truck, Typical GMC, four years old, half price, It's difficult getting a lifted truck inspected in many states also.
