Borscoping the intake valves?

That is the MAP sensor. You would push the lock strap over so the pin goes into the middle of the circle and lift it up.

 

I'm not sure that will let you see what you want though??

 

Why do you need to see the intake valve anyway??

why bother? are you trying to see if the valves are coked up? this looks like a 2500HD motor due to the big fan, correct me if i'm wrong but isnt 2500 a 6.0 port injection? if  its not a DI motor so i see no point....

cant you run a scope down the throttle body? 

 

might be hard to get to the runners, inside some manifolds are a set of trumpets so you'll have to make a hard turn to get to the intake.

Yes I just want to see how things look it has 107k miles on it with it being a new purchase just want to see how the rear vales are looking.
I went thru the throttle and the view was bad I am hoping this will allow me to see the rear ones.
