Wiring bumper led lights to bed cargo lights?

Hey all. Need some help. I want to wire my led lights to my bed cargo lights to utilize the cargo switch. I've got a 2020 2500HD LTZ. Appreciate all help.

What have you tried? Where are you stuck? What is your question?

Haven't tried wiring it up yet. Curious if this will work. Do I just splice into the rear cargo light wires? Anyone tried this with success?

Tried wiring to cargo lights, they blink 3 times then go off.? What did  do wrong?

I tried the same thing and same result - blink three times and goes off.  My guess is there must be a resistance sensor in them somewhere.

I hope someone can figure this out. I want to wire some lights in my steps to come on with the bed lights.

Have you used a relay or are you trying to power them directly off the cargo lights?

Did anyone figure this out? Does anyone know where the dome light wire is to wire easily to?

Look at sealberta’s idea.

Use a relay to power your lights switched with the signal from the cargo lights but have the power come from the battery or fuse box.

Do the LED's you're trying to add have a resister? If not, might try one. Maybe the truck thinks there's too much draw?

Does anyone know if we can wire auxiliary reverse lights straight to the stock led reverse lights? Still trying to figure my light situation.
