Need help/opinions for Rims?

Guys/Gals,

 

I have no clue about rims.  All I know is I am done with 20's rims and want to go back to 18's has anybody bought rims from Costco?  Looking for 250.00 per rim easy to clean don't understand all the Offset and other nonsense.

I sold my factory 20”s on craigs and picked up a set of 18” AT4 wheels off of a 2020.

FYI any oem GM 6 lug wheel 2007 - 2021 off a full size suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra, Escalade will fit your K2xx. Must be 17” or larger wheel to clear the front brake calipers. Factory spare is a 17”.

Don’t have to worry about offsets when using a factory wheel.

Colorado canyon wheels will not fit as they changed the bolt pattern.

Thanks, I checked it out and those rims are all about the price I wanted to pay until shipping?  I went Costco don't even know what they really look like but hey...I don't care 18's with more tire is going to feel good!

best offroad rims from GM are for the police PPV Tahoe, those are 17" and wider that the Work truck rim, they are powder coated  gloss black

 

but its far cheaper to pick up a low milage new set off Craigslist from the Z71, Tahoe , AT4, or RST or trail boss in 18", usually they are balanced and have wheel sensors installed for $650-700

 

 

the !8" rims wont get curb rash either, my main reason for switching, plus the truck handles so much better now

Check craigslist for take offs.  Dealers often sell them (cheap!) when customers buy bigger wheel and tire packages.  Around here, I can often find a set of take offs (rims and tires) for cheaper than just new tires.  I guess the dealers just don't want them taking up space, and they can't go back into general inventory as they're 'used.'  Needless to say, they go quick.

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the 2019 and newer tire sensors won't work with older trucks.

Offset Mook, is the distance, in mm, from the center of the wheel the axle side of the wheel is from centered. Positive offset moves the wheel closer to the frame and negative then to the outside. The factory steel 17 inch rim which is 8" wide has a 35 mm positive offset. The alloy spare which is 7-1/2" wide has a 31 mm positive offset. This may be useful to you:

Thanks, yeah it helps I don't need anything sticking out from the fender to make me feel bigger in the britches.  I really have no idea what I bought and we shall see what happens?  I know the 20's have bothered me since I purchased with the harsh ride.
