I have come to find out that both the USB jacks are dead (won't charge a phone even when vehicle running) and my SD card slot no longer functions?  Anyone else run into this?  Is there a fuse that gets commonly blown that powers these?

Mine will power off if I leave my radar detector plugged in while in the garage over night. I have to unplug devices and plug it back in then it comes on. If there is a software fix I’m all ears.

Hmmm, hard to imagine a software update fixing that, but I guess its worth a shot.

Yeah,

I would have sworn it was a loose connection or something.  It went from an intermittent problem with not seeing the nav card to full time not reading the nav card and none of the usb/c ports working.

Work order says they applied an software upgrade and everything has been working since.

I have noticed that if I use bluetooth to stream podcast I get some skipping for 5-10 sec after I put the phone on the wireless charger since the update but otherwise ports and nav now work.

I had the same problem last few days - yesterday got a software update message via On star on NAV - clicked on that - checked the boxes to accept - did the update very quickly and after that all functions were back to working normal.

You should be able to do the software update with via message you receive from On Star

The lastest software update from GM pushed OTA to my truck fixed this problem.  I could not believe it.

Surprised me too.

So much for what we used to know about fixing trucks.
