LED Reverse Lights? Current mod washes out reverse camera

Hi all, 

 

What are you guys using for reverse LED lights?

 

I installed some off-brand LED's from Amazon and they totally wash out the reverse camera screen, making it super bright inside the cab and basically blinding me from seeing out my side mirrors.

KC Cyclones  Bright but doesn't wash out the camera.

Ok, down in the little step?  I think that's the ticket - keeping the light down out of the camera.

Something similar to this? I’m not blinded but it does wash the screen out and you can barley see the guide lines.

I should have clarified - I just installed LED bulbs in the reverse lights on the truck. I do not have any aftermarket pods.

 

I guess I'm just looking for bulbs...or something that doesn't blind me.

I found that most of the "washing out" of the reverse camera at night was a result of the LED license plate lights I added. I have been meaning to replace them with the original halogen bulbs, but I have to find the housings (my led's were replacement housings). They LOOK great, but that much light aimed up at the tailgate where the camera is overwhelms the camera at night.

This [emoji1375] was what I was gonna ask. OP Did you also do the plate lights? I’ve changed every incandescent bulb I had over to LED EXCEPT the license plate ones and mine don’t wash out the rear cam at night.
