Steering Column Cover Question

Strange issue, I was in the passenger seat the other day and noticed that the corner of the flexible cover at the base of the steering column was open, you could see all the way inside.

The outer side (left) of the cover was complete but not the right side.

Anyone else have this issue?

This was an issue on my 2019 trail boss LT. Right side was not secure and I had to snap it together on a regular basis. My new 2020 AT4 is rocksolid.

What you are seeing is normal.  I put a cluster in one and also noticed that gap.   Thought I didnt have it together correctly until i looked at another truck and it also had that same gap.
