I have a 2015 Sierra that has started to have a wet passenger side floor. Took it to be looked at and found the condenser draining properly, and no leaks from the windshield or door seals. Anyone have this happen and have any suggestions?

Hi, if your mechanic stated your condenser is draining properly... Its time to find a new guy to diagnose the issue. Evaporator? Heater core or something else maybe.

Yea, condenser sits in front of the radiator, maybe he was using the wrong verbiage to describe the AC drain tube?

Either way, would probably check the drain tube myself, then get a second opinion.

The easiest way to verify if your drain tube is working properly is to drive your car around with AC on max. After 15 to 20 min, stop and watch it drips out. A properly working drain tube will have a fast drips.. Sometime a clogged tube/slow drain will cause it to overflow inside your truck.

So.. the condensation comes from the Evaporator. Not the condenser.

Put a shop vac on the CONDENSATION tube… any junk come out?

Oh… use a white paper towel to sponge up some of the dampness… what color?  If a leaking heater core, that could be engine coolant..

Get under the Passenger floorboard, under the truck, and check the floor drain plug(s).  There should be one under the front passenger seat and one near the front of the passenger floorboard.
