Fuel Filter - 2021 L5P

What do you guys think?

Better off with the stock AC Delco fuel filter or getting something like the CAT filter?

I'm on my 4th Duramax 05,11,17and now 20 I've always used the stock filter and never a problem.

Taking delivery on my 4th 3/4 ton truck with a diesel in the last 20 years... I tend to run Baldwin or WIX since 1996.  Though I haven't researched any on the latest Duramax L5P.  I also run synthetic so there's other reasons to run diff filters than OEM.

Does anyone know if gm stock fuel filter  is the same as ac delco filter. Dealer locally wants $55 for filter, as ac delco is $23 thru Amazon.

The should be selling the same filter.  Some dealers have higher markup than others.

L5P 6.6 and LM2 3.0  use the same filter.

It is both a debris filter and a water separator
