is there a way to brighten my dash/radio lights, during day time use the dash /radio is so dim i can not even see it and at night its blindingly bright is there a way (not the dial next to headlights) to brighten for daytime use

Does your daylight/sun sensor on the dash not work??

 

If that is working correctly it would adjust the cluster lights and the radio back lighting so you can easily read them in the bright sunlight.

Sounds like something is backwards. Usually the dim setting is for night and the bright for day, I'd check that out.

cam if your talking about the traditional dimmer by the headlight knob ya that was i first thing i adjusted thats totally the wrong issue

No I'm talking about the sun light or ambient light sensor on the center of the dash up by the windshield.

Apologies to hijack a topic kinda, but along these same lines how easy is it to get at/change that sensor? Mine seems to have disappeared into the dash therefore they bling it's always night!....

You can try removing the radio and then seeing if you can reach it through there.

plenty of videos on youtube showing how to loosen the dash top to get to it. It's pretty simple
