Hi everyone,

I am having a bunch of codes pop up on my truck. It seems to still run fine but its something i would like to address.

from my reader they are

P0307

P050d

P219a

P0442

and u0401

I have searched each one and it seems as if its a eval leak somewhere. If someone can lead me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks.

This is what I found on the web....However, with it being a 2014, I would suspect a bad ground to start with.

Good video on it here:

GM Truck Electrical Ground Issues & Preventative Maintenance (Silverado, Sierra, SUVs)| AnthonyJ350

P0307 = Misfire in cylinder 7

P050d =CHEVROLET Code - Cold Start Rough Idle; possible cause

  • Faulty Fuel Injector
  • Fuel Injector harness is open or shorted
  • Fuel Injector circuit poor electrical connection

P219a  Fuel Trim Cylinder Balance Bank 1
possible causes: Leaking or contaminated fuel injectors;

Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel

Leaking evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve

Exhaust or intake air system leaks Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system is leaking or the valve is stuck open

Ignition system Incorrectly

seated engine oil dipstick, tube or oil fill cap

P0442= possible Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected Small Leak

and u0401=Invalid Data Received From Engine Control Module

Probably a bad injector with that misfire and injector code. Injector failures are kinda common.

The EVAP leak may just be your gas cap seal.

As above, could be gas cap. For it to have rough idel, could also be something else.

Here's another tip to check. When you open your gas cap, is there pressure coming from the tank? (Pressure built up being released)... if so, you have a bad evap cannister.

Was getting a check gas cap on the notification screen so bought a new one but it is still happening.
