It's only $1,400 for the computer swap, credits and the tuning device through HP Tuners. It also does require the use of a dealer tool to do a VATS reset too, which would cost more money.

For that money and voiding your warranty, it's not worth it right now.

Don’t think it would be no 4K buy a used ecm from ebay if your 2019+ it’s a e90 on the 5.3 & 6.2 and send it to hptuners

what camgtp said above it’s a lot of $ but in my opinion $ well spent I like access to my stuff lol. One thing I forgot is I already own hptuners pro so it would be another expense for you but camgtp broke it down for you.

That is caused by a ridiculously low idle speed. Tune it. Even 50 rpm helps.

Yep. I tuned mine to be 100 RPMs higher at startup and 50 at idle.

Isn't it not tuneable until I drop the 4k to get ecu swap?

Yea, see I missed that as you posted on the 2014-2019 forum. :uhoh:

To be fair, I never had that, I just wanted to have the idle a bit up as it did make a difference on starting off HP feel

It really doesn't change anything. I notice no change and I have mine at 700rpm in park for faster winter warm up's
