yep @ 3,1xx miles I have shock oil on the lower body of the driver side rear shock. I have read numerous issues with same... Kind of hard to tell if the shock performance has diminished bc she dances quite a bit compared to my other rides. which is also another complaint from the masses.

Now I recently towed a 20ft Walk Around cuddy Boat home, the gal has some weight to her, no issues as far as driving, but Dang did the rear end drop down more than I anticipated, about 1.5-1.75 inches. So in regard to the factory shocks, I`m not wanting the warranty to replaced with same, I came across a pair of load leveler shock with the AC Delco label. In comparison they look very much like Gabriel Load levelers. I red through a good hundred or so reviews, they were still rated pretty good with low percentage of issues.

So I`m going to give them a shot and see how she goes. I do carry a truck box with a good amount of stuff for work in the bed.

Believe me I`ve done several brands of air bags, sleeves, and HD springs  in other brand trucks and SUVs, just not wanting to go that route just yet...

If you are under warranty I would take it in for a swap. If you prefer, Eibach, Bilstein, and other brands. If you are hauling big loads, focus in that area. Also, not sure what they are called, but air shocks, and/ or air bags for your rear end. Cheers

Shocks aren’t for carrying load.  Neither are the shock mounts.

Get airbags or Timbrens.

yep, been there and done all of that before. Billys and Fox resi`s are my go to shocks. have used AirLift sleeves and Firestone bags in the past as well. I`m thinking I`ll just change out the leaf pak . air bags are nice but even auto fill or manual fill still needs looking after. and before you comment, yes, I`m tired, a senior, retirement is near in a few and I want to keep it stupid simple. Would have been nice if GM just put a better leaf pack from the start.

Thanks Y`all
