I've been having a hard time finding any good information on this package that my dealership automatically added to my contract for $995.  They talked about it during signing, but only because I mentioned I planned on having the truck detailed and ceramic coated once I got it.  The finance manager acted like that wasn't needed because "we do that already for all new cars".  One, making it sound like what they do is a true ceramic coating (which I know there is no way they could do in an hour of dealership prepping a new vehicle; and two that it was included and not an extra charge.

As I stated, I am planning on taking my new truck to a local detailer and having them do a full paint correction and buff before applying a true Ceramic coating; but I cannot find any specific details on what the spray-on ceramic coating that is supposedly applied as part of this deal is.  Also, if all they are doing is Scotch guarding the leather seats; I really don't think that is worth almost $1000.

Does anyone have any experience with the Paint and Fabric Defense offered by Allstate?  Is there really any value provided by the coverage or is it really just snake oil to put $$ in the dealers pockets?

I don't, but I'm sure it is just an "insurance" policy. They probably do spray some junk on the seats but is of little value.

I didn’t believe in that stuff until I got two vehicles with it already done. My wife’s Genesis was a CPO when we bought it. 11 years later it still looks good, inside and out. The CRV had it done it’s a 15. Six total cross country trips no bug marks. Not saying I’d pay for it to be done, just saying it works. I’m for letting them wear out and look bad, so I can get another one in a reasonable time frame.

My dealership charges almost 3k for that "package" and swears that they use a ceramic coating on the paint... Although, I think its bs

Yeah...I'm still waiting on delivery of my truck (a week late now and it's sitting in a lot 50 miles north of me).  I keep going back and forth in my head on whether $995 is worth it or not.  I'm also fairly sure that the actual "protection" they apply is absolute garbage (no way in heck a quality paint or fabric protection can be properly applied in under 2 hours); but it MIGHT still be worth the 5 year "insurance" side of it for if there are any tears or issues with the interior leather.  Always hate the idea of paying for insurance type coverages (paint and fabric defense, extended warranty, etc) as you may never need them; but many times if you do need to use them, they can prove worth every penny.
