I bought my truck used and I was looking to fix the dash lighting and headlight switch backlighting.  I found a connector behind the removable dash face cover that was just hanging and nothing near it that looked like it would connect to it.  The connector had four wires so I used a multi-meter to try and read if any of the wires were grounds or had power.  In the process I tripped the ABS and Brake light on the dash.  Now those lights remain on all the time when the truck is running.  I was thinking I might have blown a fuse but have been unable to find one blown.  Any help would be appreciated.

you probably need a scan tool that does abs, it may be as simple as clearing any code that set. low brake fluid level will  turn those lights on too

The mystery is solved.  The four wires are for the 4WD which my truck is not equipped and the ABS and Brake lights were both illuminated because of two fuses that had blown.  I must have over looked the fuses after the lights first came on.  One was in the Engine compartmant fuse panel and the other was in the panel on the end of the dashboard on the drivers side.
