Both driver and passenger side seat heaters not functioning. Lights on the dash work when i try to turn them on, however no heat at the seats. Swapped fuse in cabin box. What else should I do?

Here's what GM gives to their service Techs to check seat heaters:

I have a 2017 LTZ  with the same problem. Dealer says it is the heated seat control module. Hopefully the extended warranty will cover it. I'm not paying them $675 if the warranty doesn't. The part is $ 43. Is there any setup or programing to just change out the module with a new one?

Common problem with the seat cushion heaters. They short out. I had to replace both lowers on my 2014 Sierra that had less than 50,000 miles on it. Plenty of youtube video's out on how to do it. It's kind of a pain. Just another weak point of the GM trucks. I think there is a better improved replacement heater GM is now using to replace the bad ones.

This is located under the passenger seat, dead in the middle. can be accessed from the front of the seat. Just unplug the two plugs going in it.

Fyi, I replaced the oem leather seat cover on my ‘14 sierra. Never did it before. Watched a youtube video. Wasn’t that bad. If for some reason you need access to seat heating element, you can probably replace the seat covers while you’re at it. Makes the interior look new.

I have a 2014 LTZ Silverado and I could not find that module under the seat of the passenger. There is a large module with about six connections under the driver's seat. Has anyone figured out the location? I assume that is my problem because no one rides in the passenger and both seats are not heating which I would assume its the element themselves.

If anyone has found the issue to this I would love to know. I have been trying to figure it out for months now and haven't gotten anywhere. I do not see the module like some have said.

Has anyone had any luck with this? 14 LTZ with heated and cooled seats here.  Cooled seats work fine and lights for heated buttons work, but no heat, bottom or back either seat.  Purchased module, but was not found in either seat.

get a subscription to alldata.com for your truck, that will have diagnostic procedure for the problem, where that module goes and how to replace it.
