I wouldn't think it will be much different being that my truck is a 2016 but my cold pressure is suggested at 35psi. I can be at 28-29psi and the light will not be on yet, usually starts at 27psi. So given that you have roughly 7psi before it would come on.

Or just lower one tire to see where it comes on and your question is answered.

I have an appointment Saturday to have them installed at Discount Tire.  I called and confirmed that the P metric recommended PSI is 35.  They told me they could re-calibrate the TPMS for me, we'll see.

The TPMS warning usually comes on pretty low.  Like under 20 or something.  I did some sand running and put the pressure down to 22 I think and never got a warning.

Man, what a difference.  Truck rides like a Cadillac now - smooth and quiet - at least compared to the Duratracs.  Even my wife said she couldn't believe how much it improved.

They set the tire pressure back to 41 so I lowered to 37 after it cooled down with no warning.  I may go a bit closer to 35 after driving it a while and watching the pressures.  Best mod so far, at least for me.  Happy camper at the moment.

What pressure did you end up sticking to? I ask because I recently purchased the same tire size and load rating (275/65/r18 116, Duratracs funny enough - I wanted to stay away from the LT versions too)  and have been trying to nail down the best pressure. Usually just stick to 35 but I’ve noticed my fuel economy has been pretty bad at that pressure.

I set mine at 36.  No issues at all and my mileage is much better - but it's a different tire altogether.

Makes sense. I was told by multiple shops to set mine at 38 psi (max is 51 psi even on the p metric duratrac tire). Just wanted to see what you ended up with. Thanks.
