OBD 2 software????

I am in need of a decent OBD 2 software program, I already have the cable for my laptop and the program i currently have is from obd-2.com and it really stinks.

 

I am hoping to pay nothin for a program.

 

Oh yeah, it hast to work for the older vortecs(96-99)

We use the PC Scan Tool made by EASE Diagnostics here at the shop. But there are cheaper ones out there that do less.

I'm really not sure if you can find something like this for nothing, but your best bet would be to post on this forum:

Its a computer forum that deals with any kind of program on the net, ask the guys there they may know where to get it for free. That's the best advice i can think of.

You will probably want the EASE tool as it looks really good and if you already have the cable, all you need is a good program.
