I posted about this last year, I had a 2021 silverado LT and when the A/C compressor was on there was a humming noise, not the air blower but the compressor.

I then changed to a 2022 LTD Trail boss with the 2.7L turbo. No noise, very quiet.

I traded back to a 2022 LTD LT and same noise was present.

I now have a 2022 LTD LTZ and the same noise is here, is this a design flaw? Has any of you experienced this noise and most importantly have you been able to get rid of it without playing the dealership game?  See video for reference.

Had a '19 RST and have a '22 LTZ refresh with no issues. Haven't heard of this. What was the problem with your '21?  You didn't listen for this in your new one to see if the noise was present?

I don't know I traded it in, I did check for the noise  on this new one and noticed it was there, apparently it's normal or so does the dealership say but I'm not really buying it I feel like there may me something wrong with these models.

Yea IDK.  If only a few trucks do it and most don't I don't see how this is normal.  The dealer saying it's normal is their way out of it because they have no clue what it is.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue on my 2023 1500 ZR2 and never had that issue on my 2022 1500 ZR2. I need to bring it into the dealer and I know they will give me the run around.

This is certainly not what we like to hear, Colby Martilli.  Please know, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Our team would be more than happy to take a closer look into the concerns with the A/C having a humming noise on your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. To do so, please send an email to [email protected] with ATTN: Colby Martilli/GM Trucks in the subject line.

Please include your contact information, VIN, a brief description of your concern, and the name of your preferred dealership. We look forward to hearing from you. I have a 2021 Denali 1500 and just started experiencing the same problem. Had to have the lifters replaced at 14k miles, 36k miles a rattling/ popping noise started coming from the rear end of the truck when reversing or turning on inclined surfaces, and today at 41k there’s the humming sound from the AC and now only one of the rear vents works. I never thought I’d experience this many issues buying a brand new truck.
