It was great!

 

Was at work today(Pizza Delivery), and two high school age girls walk in and ask how to get to the mall(LOL, the mall is very well known) so immedately two other co-workers run off the the back room so they can laugh out loud. The girl state they are from a nother town, a (its a small countryish town amore than an hour away), then we realise why they are asking. So a guy at my work trys to give them directions(his name is Nick) it goes like this:

 

assistant: Your in Broken Arrow

 

Girls: We ARE? (odd because they just got off the BORKEN ARROW EXPRESSWAY)

Nick: First you need to go this way(points west, direction to the mall)

Girls: Where?

Nick: that way (point again, leaving his arm suspended while the girls follow it to see where is is pointing)

Nick: Go 5 miles that way.

Girls: huh?

Nick: 5 miles

Girls: Miles?

Employee ion store use every fiber of being to stop from laughing

Nick: yes, miles

Girls: [look absoluetly clueless]

Nick:you know, its about 5 traffic lights

Girls: OOOOOOHHHHHH! yeah, ok.

Nick: then you be close enough to figure it out

Girls: Where, again?

Nick: repeate instruction

 

so the girls leave, get in their car, and go...........SOUTH!!!!!

The closest thing to a mall 5 miles south of our store is a Wal-Mart.

 

Manager was beside himself

 

"you know they girls need to stay out of the city. I figured they were asking for direction to over there (points to indicated a trash/criminalistic neighborhood), all that body glitter"

 

I don't know maybe you had to be there. Sort of like a reversed "the simple life"

It's probably the girls that I spent too much on last night....Boy were they tanked....Shocking, that they made it to Tulsa.

Yep, I saw plenty of drunken girls last night while taking a disturbance report after #2 bar fight of the year...God I love working our west end
