Brake upgrade

New to the site, have a question...  First of all just purchased a used 2019 Silverado RST, 30,00 miles. had a rear brake squeak, drove me nuts!! Decided to upgrade to Power Stop Z36 Extreme front rotors and pads, rear pads, couldn't get the rear rotors, out of stock everywhere??? DIY changed everything out, no more squeak, bingo... Question is how do I reset brake pad life system? I go to the info screen on the dash, it says front brake pads installed, but it will not let me reset. It is not in BOLD type. I changed the sensor as required, the computer does not see it as being replaced??? Any advise would help, thank you in advance!!!!!

Go to a tire shop like Discount and have them use their scanner to reset the brake pad life monitor

Can you not just hold the select button on the steering wheel to reset it like you would for an oil change?
