So I've seen a few clips on YouTube about adding some sort of bov mod that allows the woooosh sound (sorry for the unofficial term). Have any of you guys done it yet, pros and cons. Did u notice any gains or drawbacks.  And if u guys have any links of what u actually used would be cool too. Much appreciated

Go on, y not

The engine is great in the truck but it’s still a truck, not a little rice rocket. Get a CAI, it sounds much cooler.

Good luck trying that on a electronically controlled PRV.  My wife demonstrated making it fart on start and flooring it out of garage before BIT tests were done.   Otherwise its flawless.

Start up BIT ( built in test the ECM does) that you can observe by instrument needles driving full right then back to rest to left). It affects electronic Pressure Relief Valve ( blow off valve for turbo) during that test cycle. So PRV will leak then.

There are a couple of dudes in town that apparently have done the "muffler delete" or some such non-sense to their trucks. Instant Fatazz race car. 🤣

So what would happen if I did put the adapter on? It will cause damage to the motor? Loss of power.... all of the above

No idea except it’s all ECM controlled. Hope you’re good at electronics.

What would happen? Probably nothing other than you’d look dumb.

I recently got this one and honestly I love it.  This one is quality, comes with Viton rubber O-rings so they withstand the heat in that location.   I too was on the fence about this mod prior to pulling the trigger.  It's not annoying and 2,000 miles later and I haven't had 1 negative issue i.e. no check engine lights or any other negative downsides.

Just turn down the music when driving, and crack the window. You'll hear the blow off valve :)
