I contacted my local accessory shop and was told they could not get a set of "replica" 20" wheels that would fit the new refresh model but could get a set of 22" rims... I also was told some of the factory 20" chrome wheels off older models wouldn't work on the newer trucks.... what has changed? are they not still 6x5.5 wheels?

The calipers on the T1s are larger so many of the K2 wheels do not clear the calipers. I believe the snowflakes are one of the only wheels that work. Don’t quote me but many have had issues with the calipers clearance on the T1 trucks. Also GM is having supply issues with some of their wheel options. Hopefully u can get a set u like.

I still think the rims that came on my all terrain are the nicest looking rims gm ever put on a truck. They also hold up well and still look as new as the day i drove the ruck home off the lot. Machined and painted accent look is always the way to go with a gm rim imo!

Nothing has changed on the 22 refresh that would affect wheel fitment. Everything is still the same since 2019.

There is a ridge on the T1 calipers in front that cause clearance issues. You can fit older style wheels with a 5mm/1/4" spacer on the front. The aftermarket wheels I had on my Avalanche hit the ridge on the caliper and once I put the spacer on, it clears fine. They're small enough you still get plenty of thread on the lugs so no worries about it breaking the studs or lugs. Refresh has nothing to do with fitment. They've been the same since the T1's were introduced in 2019 as stated above.

Shop would have been referring to the 2018 and earlier (K2 trucks) models.

2019 - current (T1 models) have interchangeable wheels.

Some older styles may fit if they have a shape that works with the T1 calipers
