Hello, want to upgrade stock lights on 2015 gmc sierra 1500 SLE.  Have read post's after post's and most of them just point to one couple of same sources and i guess they work but as i understand led lights runs cold and on top most of them comes with fan or sinks to remove heat from the assembly. I live in alberta, we need need some heat to keep the ice off the headlight. Keeping this in mind i was thinking of getting HID instead of LED, just need the input if anyone have used this setup in winter conditions.

I did found led headlight bulbs that are heated and should work, trying to contact the seller so far no reply from them.

DRL should also work its law here, second link led light description states that 6V DRL does not work, requires 8V so will this work on 1500.

I can do mechanics but when comes to auto electric have no clue, so any input will be greatly appreciated.

Have a nice day, thanks
