I had to go flex on a factory lift to see the difference. My gas turbo on this gmc diesel turbo. My gas turbo with 4” readylift sst (3” rear) vs the at4 factory 2”. Both stock wheels. Chin spoiler removed on mine.. Both wearing the factory high clearance side steps also.

What are your ground to fender lip measurments?

41.5" average all way round, parking a couple different directions on gas station pad showed things to be pretty much same all 4 corners, measured through center of wheel.

Factory 20's with stock 275 60r (33's) measured 32 1/4" to eyeball with about 38 psi in them.

You never want to measure from the ground to the fender. That will changed based on how much air is in the tire. You want to measure from the wheel lip to the fender. Those measurements generally do not change (as long as you keep the same wheels). If they do, its because of suspension aging etc.

Most people actually measure from center of wheel to fender as that wont change even with different tires/rims etc.

You will also gain height from 3.0l to 2.7 due to engine weight...i lost 1/2" from 5.3 to 3.0...guessing you would gain some from 5.3 to 2.7.

alrighty you tape measure nazi's😉, good tips there, I'll be adding rear air bags here shortly so I'll likely have to come up with a measure I'll use all the time when airing up for the trailer etc., liking the center of wheel measure which I can see would work for anyone to compare from, or wheel lip for shortest quick check for setting air bags height, heck I'd probably cut a dowel the right length from wheel lip to fender lip and just keep that in the back of the truck, I also understand the ground to fender lip measure ask as well, I would have wanted to know that one also if comparing to my own truck

some new 33's are going on this rig shortly, just waiting on hub rings for the right size but some 255 80r17 falken wildpeak at3w pizza cutters on 17x8.5 black rhino chase wheels are here waiting, will be replacing these factory 33's on 20's, will do a separate post on that swap for the collective data's and measures and weights, not that too many guys are after the pizza cutter thing but it will be findable should the trend come back around one day 😉

Ironically, I parked in a restaurant parking lot the other day. Parked next to a regular Silver ado (2019+) and due to my upgraded shocks, and leveled out look It was a noticeable difference next to each other. Being a tall person, I can see over the hood even before the mod.
