fondupot Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 So my 2022 Silverado LTD came with fully manual seats. No elevation adjustment. Only tilt and back/forth. I am 5'11" but I felt like i was sitting on the floor. I added a seat rise kit from Seating Solutions and it raises the seat up 1.5" and It really makes a difference. Check out my install video: 1 1
newdude Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Yea the non-power seating position sucks in these T1 trucks.

My last truck was a 2016 WT, it had some elevation control, but even on the maxed out setting I felt like I was sitting low. I had to put a seat riser on that truck too. Same company and everything lol. But yea, in this T1 truck, I felt like I was sitting on the floor, the hood is so domed its hard to see over it sometimes. And I'm not a small guy.
Cowboyman Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 I did the exact same thing last month, they have a really professional looking kit! If people didn't know you had added them, they would have no idea. Makes it a little tougher to get inside, but the driving position is so much better! 1

Yea, the extra 1.5" hop up into the cab is slightly annoying, but worth it for the better driving position. I think I'll be looking into some running boards for this truck next. My 2016 WT had them and it makes it much easier to get in and out.
tangomango Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Glad this exists. I've probably crashed or curbed at least two or three times just because of how low the stock height is on the manual seats. IDK about that $150 though. Seems like it should be half the cost at most.
