here is a short video I made the next day after purchase the truck, I  have gm performance exhaust what I believe is borla Turing, correct me if I am wrong

enjoy, the   neighbors won't be happy everyday at 4:30am

I think touring is way to go sounds so deep and beefy  and when you cruise around 55 60 you can even hear it on the freeway you hear very little rumble, under acceleration sounds great,  day to day drive friendly. I love it.

Going to sound 10x louder due to you being in the garage with the exhaust aimed inside the garage taking the video as the sound will be amplified.

Believe me it got  a bark when it fire, than come down after few sec,

I had the Touring in my 2018 6.2L and my 2019 6.2L and while I liked it, I wanted something with a little more output. I decided to try something new and went with the S-type on my 2021 AT4 6.2L and LOVE it! I didn't want something as loud as the ATAK but something with a little more V8 sound than the Touring offered. The S-type is a perfect blend IMO. Every time I give it some pedal it makes me smile.

Sounds great!  I have been stuck in analysis paralysis on the Borla Touring or the S-Type.  The AWE and ATAK are just too damn loud for me.  No reason or need to wake up the neighborhood in the morning when I leave and drive up the hill out of my development.

 

Is the GM Performance Exhaust just a rebranded Borla Touring?  They want $2400 at the dealership vs $1370 from American Trucks.

I know what a ripoff , the the exhaust was already on the truck and I wanted that truck so I took it,

I have the factory performance and exhaust and CAI on my 2020 6.2 and love the noise. I believe that I read that this exhaust is made by Gm, not Borla as in the past…but I’m sure that GM “looked” at how Borla does it.

Well done!  I have this setup since 2019 and I smile each time it starts up - it never gets old.

 

I just had to replace my performance engine air filter (ACDelco 84428120), which was not easy to find.  They were not available at the dealer, but I finally found them in stock at Summit Racing.  Of course, your truck may use a different filter.  Either way, you might consider buying a replacement filter now before you need it.
