So i wound up grabbing a pair before NEWDUDE responded to me and i thought i would just throw them on to see fitment.

Power fold and power adjusting mirrors work like factory.  The task light activates the running lights, the puddle lamp activates the task lamp now, and the turn signal and rear illumination lights don't work, and camera angles are different like the guy who posted it on the previous model. I assumes i could get the required door harnesses or repin the door harness around to get the features to work correctly but ill wait for newdude to proceed at this point.   On another note i have a brand new drivers side Silverado tow mirror in the box 84879431 if anyone is interested shoot me a PM.

hi i know it has been a while but just an update here from my 2022 AT4X DQS add.

I successfully installed the tow mirrors and now the door harnesses (took a while to get the door harnesses from gm).

The power fold works along with the heat, power adjust, work lights

The camera angles are off i have to wait until wmas can adjust them not a big deal hopefully soon.

But the clearance lamps, turn signals, and back up illumination lamps do not work.

I assumed the turn signal would work because i had them on my factory mirrors but they don't any ideas why ?

I am going to try giving boost auto parts a call today see if they can help me out at all.

Howdy all,

new member here. I recently purchased a 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4 that does not have tow mirror’s. My truck does not have the technology package which looked to be the only way it could come from factory with the mirrors installed. I do have the full feature small mirrors: 360 cams, heated, puddle lamp, front light, and power fold. I am more than capable of modifying any of the wiring needed, wondering this has been figured out yet as far as BCM reconfiguration or third party involvement. Also the part numbers listed here by others seem to be for the chrome version, is there a non chrome part number that retains all the features I currently have? Thanks in advance for any help on this. Pic of my new ride.

Order guide shows that on 2023 AT4 the DQS mirrors can be added without adding other package.

Note 1 applies to SLT trim.

They show available on AT4 and Denali.

They are not available on any other sierra trim (including AT4X and Denali Ultimate)

Hi redwngr,

if you go on gmc website and build out an at4 the only way tow mirrors can be added to the build is by including the technology package. Not sure what or why that would be a limitation.

For a 2023 1500 AT4?

(otoh, wouldn't be the first time the build your own website was in disagreement with the Fleet Order Guide, and/or the dealers build/order program)

so just an update I successfully installed the OEM gm tow mirrors on my 2022 sierra at4x with the boost auto RZY harness and the OEM gm door harness. The only issues I have to get fixed is the camera angles when white auto media can update the VPM and the mirrors kind of don't fold in and out properly I have to hit the button a few times sometimes to get them to fold in or out. Any insight on the folding mirror part would be great. But overall worth it and love the look

Just wondering if anyone has made progress with having the camera functionality yet. I would really like to add tow mirrors to my 23 HC 1500. When I bought mine in early 2023, GM wasn’t accepting orders for 3.0L w/max tow so I had to take what was on a lot. For about 3 months there were about a dozen on lots at any given time in the country and when I called they were already sold. I also see different part numbers when I look online.  Parts.Chevrolet.com says #87864010 & 87864011 not  84879432 and 84879431 are the right parts for my truck. Any insight?

    • I have A 2020 1500 5.3 8 speed. LTZ. Transmission problems since 60,000 miles. Started when I go to store in morning to get my morning coffee before work leave truck running get back in put it in drive/ rev no movement step on gas a little slams into gear. Put in neutral step on gas little shake then put in gear and gose.  Shut truck off start .. ok now at stop light stop truck after a few seconds feel a little kick if that doesn’t happen stuck in 3/4 gear shut truck off wait few seconds and start usually ok again. If you down shift manually ok as long as you get into 1st before stop. If not it kicks . I WANT A NEW TRANSMISSION. Now I want a new truck it just hit 80,000 IDK IF ILL BUY CHEVY CAUSE THEY STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM AND REFUSE TO RECALL . Oh I’ve changed the fluid and filter 3 times now. And yes used mobile 1 not ac/delco cause it’s not meeting the requirements that mobile is did use ac/delco filter

    • I'm looking at carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand and lumbar fusion.
    • While waiting for parts I have been working on installing the AC compressor, new accumulator, and orifice tube. Also changed out the high side ball valve (original). The orifice tube that was in there wasn't too bad. Slightly dirty, a little bit of junk, but not blocked. Glad I changed it out.   The accumulator, which should have been a 5 minute job, may have just burned $50. Put some PAG in it, wrote the date and mileage on the side, fresh o-rings and gooey'd up the threads and rings with Nylog. Got everything connected and snugged and was going to vacuum down the system, and....   My manifold gauge won't fit on the port. It's not an R12 service port. It LOOKS like an R134 service port but the diameter is a hair too large. There's a sticker on the accumulator that says it's designed to be used with R12 and R134a systems only. So it's not R1234yf. Even if I reduced the diameter slightly with a file, the shoulder on the port is too large so the quick-connect valve won't lock on. I'm stumped. It's going back, and 50/50 on if they'll give me a refund.   Also, I did a fuel pressure test.... Key on, the gauge spikes to about 60psi and quickly bleeds off, like 2psi per second. The fuel isn't going into the plenum, no smell, starts fine, so I'm guessing there's a bad check valve in the pump and the fuel is just draining back into the tank. oh, hell. But, it shouldn't be a problem, pump primes just fine and the truck starts right up. It just means I can't really ever use fuel pressure to verify a leak at the injector or intake.
    • Got this yesterday out of nowhere. Truck is a 25',6.6 gasser with 8k miles.  Only semi anomaly is that the truck had been sitting, uncranked for 6 days. Elec Stability Control showed immediately upon cranking, not while driving. No drivability issues, just the message. Battery didn't seem to be weak when cranking over.  I drove it, killed it, let it sit a few hrs with no avail.  Truck is 100% stock. No damage.
