Looking for feedback on the 2.7L in the 2020 Sierra.  I am in the market for a second truck...a lighter duty rig to compliment the 3500HD.  I have a particular truck in mind...lightly used, great price and condition and an eager salesman.  The issue is it's a 4 cyl and I don't know anything about it other than what I've read online.  Never in my life have I considered a full size truck with anything less than an 8 cylinder.    Would love some real world feedback.

My uses for the truck will be:

300+ mile drives in a full 4-season environment, mountains and heavy snow included.

Light off-roading.   Upland hunting, Orchard work, Fly fishing.  Forest Service Roads, etc....

City and highway driving.

Thanks in advance!

Does the 6.2L factory dual exhaust fit the 2.7L Sierra elevation because I have 6.2L factory dual exhaust that came off my 2020 sierra Denali

Its a decent engine for light duty truck stuff, and if you pull a light trailer once in a while. If you want better offroad capability look into trailboss version. My work truck is a 2022 LTD with the 2.7T and for the most part it's a comfortable well performing truck. My 2.7T does tend to burn oil, but this is a common "problem" in this engine that GM says is normal. So that's something.
