Converting Rear Camera Mirror to Bed View

I have a 2022 2500HD Custom. Do not have the upgraded trailering or bed-view cameras. I have a backup camera and rear-view mirror camera only.

 

My question is... is there any way to remove the rear-view camera and replace it with the bed-view camera. Or better yet, add it? I would love to see the inside of my bed rather than have the rear-view camera.

You have a rear view camera on your custom model?  That's pretty cool.  I only have the backup camera located at the top of the tailgate on my custom model.  You pose a great question though and I'm interested to see what others say.  Subscribed to this post because I would love to add a bed camera myself.

There are quite few threads on this,  basically you are removing the rear center tail assemble and replacing it with either a rear-view camera or a bed-view camera.  this is discussed at length in the 1500 form,  all the part are cheap with the exception of the mirrir it self

 

 

To add the surround camera system is a whole different story
