Hey all. New member here from the great Pacific Northwest. I just ordered a 3500 LT CCSB with the gas engine today, so now begins the waiting game! I currently have a 2010 Tundra which has given me a total of 0 issues over the years, but I need to get into something with some more payload. Our travel trailer isn't huge, but once it's hooked up and we get the family loaded and some gear in the bed we're at or over the paltry ~1,300lb payload of the 1/2-ton.

 

Anyway, I drove a new F250 and then my neighbor's 2023 LTZ 2500 with the diesel and was sold on the ride quality difference of the Chevy vs the Ford. The Ford sure was nice, but the 10-speed "Allison" coupled with the gas engine on the 2024 and the refreshed interior pushed me towards the Chevy. Looking forward to picking it up in however many months it takes!

Congrats on the new upcoming ride! Considering used prices I’d say ordering what you want is a great idea.
