Hey there all,

I have my lovely 2019 RST Crew Cab 6" bed with a Leer 100XL on top that I love.  I did want to make the Leer lock when the vehicle locked as well.  I purchased the Pop and Lock system, but the instructions that come with it are abismal.  It tells me that for +03 Silverado with crew cab you go do the door jam and find the brown wire and blue wire (sounds like a cheezy bomb defuse movie).  Well I go there and there are no such wires that have 12VDC to them when locking or unlocking the system.  I did find a thread for 2015 truck that used the Brown with Yellow stripe "THICKER" wire as well as Grey with Green Stripe THicker wire.  Well I do not see a Brown with Yellow stripe thicker wire, only Grey with Green.

Anyone have a clue what wire to tap into that could deliver the voltage for this lock?

Thank you.

Well, with the help of @Aaaaaaaayush, who supplied the link to the upfitter manual, I was able to look at schematics and find that the wires that are brown with yellow stripe for lock and grey for unlock are the right choice.  They are located under the driver side door sill plate and easy to tap into, with lots of room if you choose to use scotch connectors or similar.  The protection of this wiring is the best I have seen yet (having owned Chevrolet Pickups since 1984).

Works like a champ and now my goods lock automatically.  Note that this connection type taps into the circuit for the locks on the passenger side, as well as driver rear door on the crew cab, so that means to unlock the cover, you need to hit the button on the keyfob twice, just as you would if you were letting in passengers into your cab (same goes with the buttons on the doors, driver door requires two press, all other buttons single press).  Hope this helps someone.
