Different strokes for different folks but I prefer the previous typed out Chevrolet grill to this one shown. Was more unique and in your face.

i prefer the 20-23 grill on upper trims for sure.....not a fan of new LTZ/ HC front end, however if your getting an LT and wanting a LED upgrade thats 4k just get an LTZ....sure its still few k more but you also get more than just the headlights....better value imo

Mines just a low end WT but I like the utilitarian look of the all black front grill, bumper and hood scope as it contrasts with the white paint.  I would like led lighting for the fact it’s much brighter though but eventually I’ll toss in some or as time goes on the whole assembly may be easy to find in a salvage yard or something

I put the Lasfit H11's in my LT and its an entirely different experience when driving at night. For less than $100 its a complete transformation. https://www.lasfit.com/products/lcplus-h11-h9-h8-led-headlight-bulb?rq=na_led-bulbs~mk_chevrolet~md_silverado-3500~yr_2023~zq_lt~dz_low-forward-lighting

(same lamp for high and low)

I did the same upgrade with vleds H11's. Waaay better night driving than my oem led's on my previous 2021 GMC.

did same with 2 LTs....was night and day difference....but the whole LED assembly is different story cost wise..

have a High Country now and cant say its any better than the LT I had with replaceable bulbs tbh, wish Chevy would just do same as GMC and put LED in every trim

So does a guy need two sets of those? Two bulbs for each side?

I really should do it. On occasion, depending on conditions, it almost appears the lights are off! When driving.

You seem to have a solid grasp on electrical. Is there any reason to fear our electrical system with these bulbs? Like could they stress the wiring?

Thanks.

You would need 2 sets. My lows were H11 and highs were H9.  The H11 LED bulb will fit in both high and low. As far as wiring the LED's pull less power than the stock bulbs so I dont anticipate any issues. They have really improved the quality of them over the last few years. There are even brighter ones than what I put in my truck but I wanted something that was still reasonable rather than blinding all the oncoming traffic.  Your truck should be the same as mine. The fender liner needs to be pulled back by removing the front 5 or 6 screws (T15) and pulling the liner back. There are some issues with tight spaces so dont be in a rush.

Totally worth the upgrade. Your OCD tendencies appear like mine hahaha, so worth noting the fans on the led units are audible when your truck is powered off and the lights are on.

The ones on my OEM lights on the Equinox are very loud. I dont notice the ones on the Lasfits in my truck.

Funny you mention that. My vleds are significantly quieter than my wife's oem ones on her honda as well.

I'm wondering if anyone has just swapped out the high beam halogens for LEDs? I'll explain my question. In 2022 my nephew swapped out the halogens in my 2017. All was great in the fall, but once winter arrived & I was driving during snowfalls @ night, I hated that the low beams were LEDs. They were so bright it was like driving into a white wall.

I'm thinking that by keeping the low beams stock I'd have better visibility when it's snowing.

Some of us like the ~$20 replacement bulbs instead of a ~$1000 assembly when it dies.

Now not running an easily replaceable LED bulb in the brake/reverse/turn signals is an argument.

I remember a story on the local news about a consumer upset that the 'steerable' headlight on her SUV (a European brand) was going to cost her $3,000. TBH, I dont have a lot of sympathy for people like that. Buy an expensive vehicle w/ a lot of fancy (but are they necessary) goodies & then complain about repair costs.

How much would it cost per vehicle if the halogens were replaced w/ LED bulbs? Maybe the Customs be built w/ halogens, the LTs have the LED bulbs. The higher end LTZs & High Countrys would get a specific fancy headlight/DRL assy...

I too think it’s ridiculous that all trim levels aren’t LED. Also don’t like the electric parking brake, but somebody had to make their bonus…

Installed 2 sets of LASFIT LAplus H11’s in my custom. Had to aim them down a bit with a long hex wrench. Performance-wise, they aren’t perfect but maybe 75% of what you get out of an OEM setup IMHO.
