Check trailer wiring 2023 silverado

This comes on and stays on yet when I hook up my travel trailer to my 21 Jeep nothing comes up why?

dealer says it is the trailer Rv says dealer

Trailer have LED lights? I get a erratic check trailer light warning when I first hook up, usually one of the turn lights, do the light test and all is fine and no more warnings. I think the system is overly sensitive with LED trailer lights. 

I've got 5 trailers and have had it happen on the boat and landscape that have LED taillights. Haven't had the others hooked up yet.

Had it happen on my 2019 Sierra. Rather disconcerting when towing a loaded 20' enclosed trailer through pouring rain. Trailer light test was always good. Everything worked as it should. Dealer couldn't find anything. Neither could the trailer dealer. Both tested with trailer attached and unattached. It went away on its own.

2023 Silverado High Country here.....

I've pulled 3 different trailers (2 with LEDs) so far and no issues, actually works very well. 

I also have an LED dummy plug for testing and that works fine, truck thinks it's a trailer. 

 

My only complaint is I wish they would have kept a 4-pin connector along with the 7-pin......to many trailers still use the 4-pin and then I have to use an adapter.

I believe the 4 pin is there when you do not have the auxiliary rear camera connectors. Lower trims I believe have the 4 pin connector.
