I tried searching but couldn't find anything. Just picked a 2023 elevation crew cab and have noticed a rattle noise coming from the rear passenger seat area behind the driver. Checked and nothing loose that's visible. Seems to go away when someone is sitting there. Anyone experience this or know of a solution to correct? Its pretty annoying.

Previous years models have been discussed and most were said to be coming from the head rests (including mine).

Try removing the head rests and pull outward on both of the legs of the head rests slightly to add some resistance to see if  this helps your rattle noise. 👍

Thanks, I'll try that and see what happens. Going to sit back there again and try to pinpoint the location if I can. My 22' limited never had this problem.

I checked again and it’s not the headrest. It doesn’t happen when the rear seat is folded up only when down. Some more research seems to confirm its something to do with a possible bracket that holds the seat when up and when the seat is down it rattles. This appears to be the problem . I searched a couple other forums that speak about it. It’s only a week old so I will probably take it back to the dealer to see if they can fix it. Surprised no else has had this happen on their 23’s.

I would not take it to the dealer, risk of things happening that I would avoid. But hey it's your truck.

Your probably right about that. May try to fix it myself first before I go the dealership route.

Did you ever find out what was wrong or get it fixed? I am in the same position and can tell it’s where the metal on metal latches just to the right of the headrest. I would have to take the backseat out to see it though. Thanks!

Yes, ended up taking it to the dealership and they fixed it. Said there was a piece loose where the latch is located that allows the seat to stay up when you fold up the seat. It was allowing metal on metal contact.

It’s the rear leaf springs took my 2023 to dealership and they said no problem found but I found a product that fixed it completely,it’s called spring thing.com it’s a kit for $45 well worth it my noises are completely gone

I had the exact same issue on my '22 AT4x right after delivery.  The rear seatbacks have a metal bar that a spring loaded latch grabs onto to hold the seatback in place.  There is apparently a plastic sleeve that is supposed to go over the metal bar that keeps it from rattling.  The tech that fixed my truck found the sleeve in the floor of the truck.
