Daytime Running Lights

Hi All,

Just a quick question. I'm a Canadian and I'm leaving for Florida soon and was wondering if there are any places to buy different colour running lights other than just the basic white light. Does Pep Boys or anyone sell them. I'm staying in Orlando if that helps. Also looking to purchase aftermarket Hi and Low replacement bulbs.....the really bright blue bulbs that you see on BMW's and such.

discount auto parts is a large chain in florida!!! you can get sylvania silverstars light bulbs even at wal-mart check sylvania web site for bulb details

3357 are the sylvania replacement numbers for the DRL's you can replace them with amber or clear.

the high/ low beams are 9005/9006 for silverstars and I think the HID are a similar number. most autostores will have a selection to choose from, from amber to HID.

Be carefule with the HID-look bulbs. The blue bulbs may actually DECREASE your vision in inclement weather since blue light scatters easier than white.

Having said that, I've heard good things about Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, though I have no personal experience with them.
