Just had a new AT4X delivered and I am really disappointed in the ride.  I test drove one locally and in the 20 minutes I spent in it I thought it rode better than by 2021 at4.  Both trucks are 6.2 gas.  Another dealers deal was $8,000 better than the local one so I ordered from him and had delivered.

All the reviews I’ve read rave about the ride with the DSSV shocks but my experience is not that.  Tires are inflated correctly etc so I’m not sure what’s going on.  Is anyone else disappointed with the DSSV system?

I would say give it time  to let the suspension settle in. When I go my Silverado Z71 RST it felt loose almost too bouncy. After 3500 miles it has really settled down and became a lot better ride. I  went on a drive every weekend and had the ride setting in different positions. I was disappointed at first but now I’m enjoying it a lot more.

I have a 2023 AT4X and I've had a lot of trucks incling Denalis, H2's ,Silverado, and the AT4X is the best ride ever. Maybe something is not right with yours, test drive another from another dealer to make sure.

Thanks for the input.  Yea I thought the one I test drove (not the one I actually got) was pretty smooth but was only in it a short time.  I had that thought about the suspension breaking in also but the ride is so stiff / jarring something seems off.

My 2021 AT4 rides better.

My Z71 LTZ had 40 psi of air in the tires at delivery, door sticker says 32/35. I test drove a High County Z71 at the same time and chose my truck because it rode better even though same engine, options, 1500, etc. I wonder how much air they had in the HC tires?  I didn't' check and only noticed my air pressures after I got home.

So much for dealer PDI.

Ha!  So I looked at the TPMS while driving yesterday and it said 41psi all the way around.

got home today and let the tires cool down for a couple hours and checked the pressure and gauge read 46 ish.

Door sticker says I should be at 38. That might be why I feel like I’m riding on overinflated basketballs.

Fwiw, mine can with very high tire pressures as well.  I'm sure there is a reason, but you'd think the dealers would adjust them appropriately before delivery.

I stopped by a 4x4 shop I do business with this morning to pick up a few items.  Interesting comment from the mechanic there; he said GMC TPMS is off by about 5 psi compared to other makes.

when we checked tire pressure front has at 50psi and rear was mid 40’s.  We corrected it and the ride is as advertised

This is the first time I've ever heard the claim about GM TPMS reading ~5psi off.  If it affects GMCs it'll also affect Chevys.  Every time I've had to adjust tire pressures I've had at least 1 other device giving me the same reading as what my truck and app say.  Has anybody else heard this claim?
