2020 Silverado metal shavings and ball bearings in transmission pan

Weird sound in tyranny area.  took to dealer, removed transmission said it was in the fluid pump area.  3 weeks later parts come in and I will get it back week 4.  What about future transmission probs?

2 differing opinions on n"The most common issue" both rather frightening to me.

Tyranny pump has been replaced.  Ball bearings and metal shavings were found in the tyranny pan.  What else should be done to prevent damage to the transmission?  Tran y cooler replace?  Others?

Nothing.  The updated parts should prevent this.  The transmission pump gear was updated on the 10 speed as well so as long as the new parts are the latest, it should be fine.
