When I first got my truck a couple months ago, I had to buckle the seat belt before I could put it in gear. As time went on, I noticed if I quickly put it in gear, it goes in without the seatbelt locked. Now, I can take it out of park and into gear without the seatbelt when I want to. any body else notice this ? Maybe it was an ota update??

I have a 2023 1500 but it's the same concept for everything. Did you double check the option is enabled on the radio for buckle before shifting out of park? Maybe it lost the setting somehow if it did a radio update. I had 2 updates on my truck a few months ago and a few little settings like exit lighting and things like that were reset to the default setting which was not what I had them set to.

I did not know you could disable it. I was not complaning, as I like not having to buckle up when getting in and out around the garage. I will check into that.

Yes, it's a setting in your radio called "Buckel to drive" turn it off.
