Yikes. Minneapolis is a total S*** hole. I wouldn’t want to be a LEO there. They went whole hog on the defund crap and have insanely high crime. Just a complete toilet. I grew up in MN. I’d never live there now.

I couldn't agree more. We lived downtown Minneapolis for a few years. Now we never go there. My daughter-in-law is an agent for the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Buth her and my son were heavily involved in the riots. My son just transports prisoners now days from all over the country. Much better job. Can't wait till they both retire.

My latest renters fled Portland Oregon. They even had a successful business there. They restarted their business here a year ago. Things are going well for them and couldn’t be happier.

I guess I am in need of a little entertainment these days.  My sister inlaw passed away unexpectedly last Wed. morning.  Went to sleep and never woke up.  Not a bad way to go but damn that was a huge loss for everyone that knew her.  We ran up to Virginia Beach and helped my brother inlaw with everything.  My wife is still not right.  I've been to a lot of funerals but that was a rough one due to it being so sudden and unexpected.  Anyhow I'm not looking for condolences, but I guess I do need to be entertained a bit.  And no I'm not buying a new truck lol....nope, not happening unless you step up and buy me one.  If you can afford a new Yota then you can afford to buy me a new truck....lol..

Sorry for your loss. I keep telling my kids that I've had a great life and if I drop dead today, that's exactly how I want it. Also, if they work for a place that gives them time for the funeral, don't waste it on that. Take a vacation. Probably only inheritance they'll get from me. My son tells me "You can't die. I have way too many projects for you!" He does keep me hopping.

I agree on funerals. Quite a few of my relatives got cremated. That’s the way we are going. If they want a service our church will do it for free if they choose. Inheritance, my kids don’t have a glue. Their problem is we had kids very young. Likely they’ll all be retired when we pass.

I posted this before, I'm an audiophile and I have 3 stereo systems. I recently purchased a vintage receiver to replace the receiver in my garage, a Fisher Studio Standard model 2010. See picture. It' going to have to be rebuilt someday. Works good but has an occasional tuner problem.

My main system is in the living room, it is a 2.2 system. Also have a system in the basement for TV, movies and music, same as the living room. The basement system is a 2.1 system.

I’m kinda there my TV sits on top of a working console stereo. Next to it is my surround sound system. But usually I use a sound bar with a sub woofer. The surround that puts out is astonishing. In my old truck I have a Bluetooth speaker that has keeps me from replacing the head unit and speakers. The technology can’t be beat.

I’m in the process of building out my unfinished basement. Already did the framing and drywall hired out the electrical and am now doing the mudding taping sanding(fun) I ran over 100’ of 12ga wire through the walls and will have it all wired up for 7.2.4. No exposed wires. Should be good for movie nights!!

He’s a hoot. And reminds me of my younger days. I didn’t have 1/2 the knowledge or equipment. And the cars were in better shape because it was 40 to 20 years ago. But I had the same enthusiasm.

I'm still here.  I try and check in every couple of weeks or so.  Northern Maine ya know...life is a little slower up here.  Freezing and snow.

Still loving my Big Red!!
