Recently, traded in my 2001, Chevy, Silverado 3500 crew, cab Dualley for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT, I am nothing but upset with this truck. I thought I was getting a great truck. My  01 was bulletproof and this thing is an absolute terd, I just want to put a gun to my head

I love posts like these. Says he hates it but gives zero reasons why.

You test drove it, so obviously you liked it enough to buy it at that time.

I just bought a 2015. When going up a hill there is a sensation of some one hitting the frame of the truck with a BIG HAMMER, no sign of this in the test drive.  Talked to my transmission guy, I mentioned that I thought it was the torque converter.  He says he's not touching these trannys, they have a computer inside the case, if you work on these things you have to buy the rights to program it from GM on a one time ($300.00) basis, there is ONE shop in the area (in the next county North of me) and it'll be $8500.00 to get it fixed. So what is the best fix for this, the 6l90E from a wreck? I bet it still has to be reprogramed. I am very disappointed in GM. The Federal Gov't should do some thing about this, these repair numbers are not sustainable for your average owner.
