Reviving this thread.  Again went on a 2 week snowmobile trip to Quebec, and again came homee to a dead battery.  Had to replace the battery in 4 degree weather in my driveway, that was fun.  It had been at the dealer for 5 days now.  They say there is a parasitic draw somewhere behind the dash.  Anyone have any insight so I can point them in the right direction?  All I can say is this truck has been nothing but a nightmare.  58k miles and it has been at the dealer 5 times now.

Thought I would give some follow up to what has happened here.  The parasitic draw on my truck was the result of corroded wires near the fuse block on the passenger side behind the kick plate.  I am not sure how that happened.  800.00 dollars later and I was down the road.  However, I have had so many issues with this truck I decided to cut my losses and traded it.  I picked up a 2025 GMC Sierra Elevation with the 3.0l Duramax.  The technology advancement in the new truck compared to the old one is night and day.  The 2022 was the limited model.  I want to thank GM customer service for their help.  They were very responsive to my emails, and I am fairly certain they were in contact with the dealership who was working on my 22.  Every issue I had with the 22 was electric, so for the first time ever, I went with an extended warrant of 5 years 100k miles bumper to bumper.  These vehicles are getting so complex nowadays, I felt it was needed.

I didn't want to pay for an extended warranty either but decided to so it was covered during the length of the loan and even on a Custom trim level 2021 there's tons of electrical junk that can go wrong. I've been even more leery of the refresh trucks and the Global B architecture and the fancy Google screens that seem to lock up a lot from threads I've seen.
