I have a question about the seats in the 2024 2500 HD. I know (think)  the AT4, Denali AT4X and Denali Ultimate all have different grades of leather for the seat material. I also know the AT4X and Ultimate have massaging seats. If you take away the messaging seats which GMC trim would have the most comfortable seats for a trip from east coast to Anchorage, Denali and Fairbanks AK and for everyday driving?

Well, I can tell you that the seats in the 2024 AT4 aren't exactly super comfortable. They do break in a bit over time, but still are pretty firm. I believe the Denali Ultimate and AT4X have better seats (even not considering the massage feature), but I haven't personally sat in them to compare.

My 2024 AT4 HD is the first truck I've had with leather seats. GF has had two GMC Acadia's with leather seats. Hers is pretty comfy, mine are a little stiff. Regardless, at 63yo and retired, on a long trip (425 miles) I stop frequently to stretch, bathroom break, eat, etc. For everyday driving they are fine.

I would agree AT4 2500 seats are definitely firmer than AT4X 2500 seats.  One of my contractors has an Ultimate, but I have not sat in it.

I will add I recently sat in a 2500 ZR2, and I thought those seats were softer than those in the AT4X.  Certainly softer than a regular AT4.  Maybe because those seats are not real leather?  I don't know, but they were probably the best GM HD seats I have sat in.

I wish I had the seats from the wife's '14 Suburban in my '24 2500. 3 kids, 10 years, and 180k miles, it's still a couch on wheels. The seats were a miss on the '24s for me, otherwise I really like the truck.
