Weather radar

'24 Sierra Denali 1500 and Samsung 24S phone. Is it possible to get a radar app to show on the screen?

Good question. I don't know if there is anything built in but I know there is an android app called MyRadar that will run on the infotainment.  I was surprised nothing was built in as my 17 High Country had a nice weather radar app.

I have the radar app but not sure how to get it to screen. I don't presently have the phone paired.

I have my phone connected to the infotainment system. In the Android Auto App (on your phone) there is a thing called "customize launcher". That is how I have pushed my apps to the android auto applications on the screen.

 

There is also a PlayStore app in the GM main screen icons where you should be able to download apps with your play store account.  Not sure if MyRadar is there or not.

 

The whole GM process is confusing in my opinion. I am an IT guy so technology is my daily routine. This truck has been frustrating.  I have it working well now, but afraid to change much

I connect my truck to my Samsung Hotspot.  I was able to download "The Weather Channel" app from the Onstar App store.  It has Radar.  Works well.
