2014 Denali no remote start button on key fob?

New to me 2014 Sierra Denali. The original owner said he would use the app to start it but the subscription ran out after 5 years.

Also the fob does not have the remote start button? Is there any work around? New fob with the start button that can be programmed? Thanks

If the fobs don't have the remote start you should double check the RPO codes to make sure that truck is equipped with a factory remote start just to be safe.

 

Then you could buy new OEM remote and have a dealership program them.

Window sticker has remote start listed. Original owner used the app to start it.

Seems obvious, the fob is not original but a replacement?
