Noticed the other day that there's a fair amount of oil build up on one of the oil lines just below the vacuum pump. I can some seepage from the crimp where the rubber and metal lines connect but also kind of looks like it may be coming from the pump?  Anything to be concerned about? Easy replacement? I am thinking of changing out the vacuum pump since it's original and nearing the end of the extended warranty on it.  Now wondering if I should do this while I'm there but trying to gage how difficult (or necessary) that it would be to replace the lines also.  It's a 2017 with 6.2.

I tow a camper quite a bit with the family  and had oil lines seeping for the last 2 years. I had the dealer replace them 6 months ago. I think I paid around $400. Heard it’s a little painful replacing them.

IMO, that's just some weeping. The rubber line under that factory crimp gets hard & ATF will get past just about any seal. I've seen a video hack where they cut the factory crimp off & install an aftermarket one instead of replacing the whole line. Personally, I'd spray it with some s

SimpleGreen & hose it off every 6 months....or you can pay to have it replaced.

I spray & hose off under the hood about every 6 months to keep it looking new.

I noticed this on my 2014 5.3 Sierra a year or so ago. I was looking at buying new lines to replace them but seems the new ones will eventually seep as well. I cleaned em up and sine then they have not seeped enough to form a drip...... Some things just are not worth messing with and I classify this in that boat. I just keep a eye on em.

In my job driving a high-way assistance truck I have run into a number of Acadias and Equinox vehicles that the lines have come apart, Haven't seen any pickups though, I replaced the lines on my 98 twice due to rust, the new 1s didn't take long to start seeping so if the lines are in good shape and the leak gets worse I would grind the crimps off and do the repair

Thanks for the replies, I did a more thorough check and didn't see any drips, I think I'm just going to clean it up and just keep an eye on it for now. If it gets worse, we'll readdress it then.  Are these oil or trans fluid lines?
