Puddle lights

I am looking to add puddle lights to my 2023 Silverado LT trail boss. I do not currently have any puddle lights in my mirrors. Has anyone done this, and what wires do I need to tap into? I want them to come on with the dome/courtesy lights for extra light when I either get out of or unlock my truck. I dont want them on driving down the road.

Have you looked at the GM accessory puddle light kit?

No, I haven’t seen them. I have been searching everywhere to find out how to do this. Maybe I just don’t!

go to GM.com

Then pick chev (or whichever division the vehicle is)

then under shop, pick accessories

 

There is a spot to pick/enter vehicle info

 'add vehicle' -- then pick search by vehicle/vin

  ------I enter the year/model/etc, including the 'extra vehicle details'  info  (i've never tried entering vin)

 

Then select 'add vehicle'.

 

Pick exterior

 

Pick puddle lights

His mirrors currently don't have puddle lights, it's more involved than just buying the lights.
